Riley is not cooperating. I can already tell he's going to be a stubborn Carlton man! They are going to do a 3D ultrasound for us when he's turned right. But his back was to us this time so we didn't get the 3D. Maybe next month.
His face was turned away from us. But you can still see his head, heart, body and arm.
I can tell he's a BOY now!!

Emotional Rollercoaster
Ever since I found out I was pregnant, I’ve been on the internet on baby boards reading daily blogs and threads on different topics. I have found that due to my doctor’s inability to share information, I can find a world of information from people who have been pregnant before or are currently pregnant. It’s always nice to know there are other ladies out there going through the same trials and emotions that you are. And to know exactly what normal is when pregnant.
Anybody who really knows me, knows I'm a kid at heart and I LOVE rollercoasters! But the emotional rollercoaster I'm not nearly as fond of. I know a few ladies that are currently pregnant and to hear some of their stories and to hear their men talk……let's just say their relationships are being tested. Hang in there guys!! With that said, Randy and I agree that we have gotten off pretty easy so far with this pregnancy. To date, I’ve only had 3 crying episodes (to which hubby only saw one) and one temper tantrum and again, hubby wasn’t home so he lucked out then too. It didn’t last long but I’m so glad Randy wasn’t there! Even Satan himself was hiding! But I do have 15 more weeks and it’ll be much hotter then so I might have more hormonal episodes. So for those who STILL insist on talking about my weight, BEWARE.

Symptoms:
*Headaches, though less frequent
*Sharp back pains....at my tail bone (sciatic nerve?)
*Nose bleeds
*Bleeding/sensitive gums
*Noticing a few purple veins on my legs (ugh)
*Well, at this point, you can add a blue road map across my chest. Anybody need directions to the Rockies??
*One good thing is that my allergies dont seem to be as bad right now. But i'm prepared with Claritin 10mg just in case (doctor approved)

16 weeks
Well, I've been a little lazy this month and haven't gotten around to posting an update on the baby. I'm currently almost 18 weeks but these are my 16 week pictures.
16 Week Status:
Weight 124
Only minor symptoms like:
Headaches & Cramps (ligaments stretching)
No major symptoms or problems
I have finally decided to go buy me some maternity pants. My belly has outgrown most of my regular pants to the point of not just leaving them unbuttoned but unzipped as well. So although i do have a few larger pants that i can still wear, i'm running low and decided to take the plunge to be comfortable.

Baby Carlton did not cooperate as well in these pictures. But i have noted the parts.
